I wont be using something called Bing lol. What happened with "Kumo"? Bing is simply horrible.

Yes, it reminds me of something I posted yesterday morning.
MS want their slice of the pie.
If it works, I'll probably use it some regardless of the name. If it doesn't work, the name isn't going to help.

Perhaps they want you to say Oh, I've found it (just think about what you might say when you've found something, a word beginning with Bing).
Not a very inspiring choice of name, is it? I prefer things to be called by a name which implies what they are. I can understand the word Search being replaced by Hunt, Find, Seek, Look, Trace as these convey the same meaning. Bing, however does not convey any meaning whatsoever. I know that Google isn't an obvious choice for the name of a search engine, but over the years Google and Search have become synonymous terms, and people understand that they mean the same thing (just like Hoover and Vacuum Cleaner).
u use bing, and get the result eventually, then BINGO
I'm going to "Bing"
*Bing*
Oups! I've rebound to Google!
EDIT
I don't like the MS' search site at all. Bing or Live Search.
I've tried to use Live Search but have found that the results from Google are usually better
I can remember a time when there were lots of search engines, most with specific target content, and then the "mega searches" such as Dogpile came along that made searching easier.
Google was just another of these at the beginning, it's just that the engine they used worked better than the rest and that's why it grew so popular - if Bing finds the stuff I want I'll use it if not I won't
For some reason if i don't use google i don't feel like i'm getting all the results.
But i'm looking forward to seeing what MS can come up with
simple as thatif Bing finds the stuff I want I'll use it if not I won't
They say the next version after this might be called Crosby.
