Zune HD Revealed & Zune Coming to the Xbox!

My pal Brian Seitz over on the Zune Insider revealed a brand new (and very awesome looking) Zune yesterday – the Zune HD.



This awesome looking new device comes with an OLED screen with multi touch, an HD Radio receiver, HD video out capabilities, AND a web browser! Find out more about the Zune HD here. The Zune HD will be hitting the market later this year. I’m definitely getting one of these!

Oh and Zune will also be coming to the Xbox 360, taking over the existing video marketplace. Expect to hear more about this at E3 taking place in Los Angeles next week.

hoooooooolly crap! this is beautiful!
I love the Zune, 1000x's over iPods.
I've had the 30GB, 80GB, and have the 120GB currently.
This is much better looking than the speculation drawing of the Zune HD that I saw a month ago.
I had no idea that they were adding web browsing capabilites...though, I should have guessed XD haha
This is a beautiful looking product, I can't wait to buy one.

I wonder if it will still be $250, that's what the high-end Zunes always cost when they launch. They always launch around Nov. 11th too, so I expect this one will launch then too =D

Looks pretty good....it appears to be using a Windows Mobile 6.5 interface from that pic....I wonder if Microsoft will bring out a Zunephone to go head to head with Apple rather than rely on the likes of HTC, Samsung etc.

Now that would be an interesting scrap for marketshare....lol

lol, it totally would be. The Zune phone has been somewhat of an on going joke since the iPhone came out...but I think that if Microsoft was carefull, and gave as much attention to it's development as they are with Windows 7, it could really put a huge dent in the iPhone.

I quite possibly would....M$ currently gets a bit of a bad rap with Win Mobile when a lot of it is down to the Phone manufacturers playing around with the ROM....plus they are all basically phones with little music capability so they really don't compete with iPhone.
A Zphone may just be something that can go head to head based on being a quality MP3 (and more) player etc etc....

It would be fun to watch the Marketing battle....lol

i wish i could get rid of my 80 gig i got for christmas and get this instead :(

I agree. If Microsoft had full control over the phone, ie the design and functions, they could really unleash win mobile's potential, exspecially with the newest version of win mobile on the horizon.
For years and years I've wanted a windows mobile soooooo bad; I'm just a huge Microsoft fan =P
I'll admit that the iPhone is a good product...it's just not for me.

We'll have to wait and see what Microsoft does. Even if they say that they won't make a Zune phone, we can't take it too seriously; after all, when the Zune first launched, they said it would never have games... =D

All the phones with win mobile on them have just sucked. Really slow, laggy, just didn't look good. M$ trying to put the XP look on a phone (mostly the start menu) just sucked. The iPhone was (is) and amazing product, and definitely the top competitor. If M$ made their OWN phone then.............. I don't know. Might compete, might not.

I have an iPod Touch myself, and I love it (yes.... I know). The only thing I don't like is that I can't get WiFi ANYWHERE (like the phone). I have not used the Zune, but have heard good and bad about it.

I do think that they copied Apple's look just a little too much....
