Microsoft Office 2014 (Office 15) Screenshots and Details Leaked!

    Posted: 22 Sep 2010
Office 15 is the next major iteration of Microsoft’s productivity suite and the successor of Office 2010, which was built using the codename Office 14. The first leaked screenshots and details of Office 15 / Microsoft Office 2014 are now available in the wild, at just four months after Office 2010 was released to manufacturing, and just a couple of months since the General Availability deadline.
According to Neowin “The first of the two features is the “Microsoft Limestone Test Application”, which appeared in beta builds of Office 2010 before it was released. Not much is known about this application or what it does exactly, but it has previously surfaced in test builds of Office before being removed.
Softpedia also reports that Microsoft is planning on integrating a KMS activator into office 15, making it easier for companies using volume licenses to activate their Office 2014 installations quickly.”

very neat. I am really liking the way MS is going with the "simplicity" of it's products recently.

This is going to be a good decade for MS junkies.

Huh? What's the difference? It still looks like Office 2010. Only the version changed. I can't see new features, UI enhancements etc.

    Hi there
Wzor is usually pretty accurate but all these screenshots just seem to show a bit of expertise with Photoshop.

What we WOULD like to know is what new features are in it or would it be a significant improvement from Office 2010.

Office 2010 for most non business users doesn't really offer anything significant to Office 2007 users or even Office 2003 which actually had a much simpler interface instead of the Office 2007 toolbar / menu system occupying nearly 30 % of the screen on a small Netbook computer. (I know you can by pressing ctrl /F1 kill this but you shouldn't have to).

I'm certainly NOT against major upgrades especially for businesses but for individuals what do you ACTUALLY get in Office 2014 that you can't do now with office 2003.

    Cheers

I like to keep up to date with OS and Office. BUT - I can do all I need to do with much older software as you mentioned jimbo.
