| | Patent Protection Key to Windows Phone License Quote: Microsoft may be one of the only remaining mobile operating-system providers that charges handset makers a licensing fee, but in exchange vendors get at least one important benefit: protection from intellectual property worries. Seems like a mistake to me. Less handsets, less potential sales as a possible result. Can they match the numbers Android has? Doubtful. Not only are they late to the game, but handicapping themselves. |
