    IE 9 Beta.

I've been using IE 9 Beta for almost 3 weeks now with no problems at all. I like the new layout and the new helpful Download method. I would however like a simple 'add to Favorites' icon; there may be one but I've been unable to find it so far.
Well worth a try and for me perfectly stable.

What I meant Klaw is that they should consider IE9 for XP.
In that case, they probably did, but the way XP works makes it impossible for IE9 to work on XP. Why? Because IE9 requires hardware acceleration, which XP lacks support for. Even in Firefox Nightly and Chrome Canary Builds, hardware acceleration can only be done on Vista or 7.

How is this even relelant... IE9 is still in beta.

I will say iv been using it since the day it released and have had none of the problems some of you are saying you have.

It has worked flawless for the exception of a few minor things (like selecting searches from dropdown box doesnt always work). So maybe im just having good luck or maybe the system its running on is related to some of the problems.

btw, its the also the fastest browser iv ever used!

When you have your Favourites Centre open like I do there is an easy way to add to favourites - just click on Add to Favourites at the top (see insert)

Hi Echrada. Thanks for that; I do use that method but not having Favorites open all the time means needing to do so and that,s why I would have preffered them to include the previous 'Gold Star Icon' method.
Who knows, they may just include it when the completed IE9 is issued.

Regular IE9 (and Chrome) user here

Appart from the obvious flash issues with 64Bit there's nothing wrong with it. The main issue is that a lot of users are not going to use BETA software due to possible security issues. Once it's officially out of the BETA stage it'll no doubt pick up again :)

Those that openly flame IE should just be happy with the browsers you use, don't try to dishearten people who may be willing to give IE9 the time of day
