Yeah have been waiting for Windows8, its not official in the market but yeah my friend tried & it looks more like Windows7 but got some changes...not sure how it gonna perform but waiting to get my hands on it...
Your friend already tried Windows 8?!
I'll believe it when I see it. To many claiming to have 'tried' it with no viable proof.

As for it looking like Windows 7, my guess is that is because it is still in alpha and also Windows 7 looked like Vista until its hit milestone 3.

Thats impossible as Win 8 has not being leaked yet (not even on warez sites)
Your friend just installed a modded version of Win7 which is probably illegal too

It seems like MS gets it somewhat right every other try.
    95...ok. 98SE, better. ME, Terrible...XP...better, Vista..

You get the idea. I am very happy with 7. I had it at home from the beginning and purchased it for work in January of this year. I've been rolling out 7 to any new computer/user since. I installed Server 2008R2 @ work over the 2009 Christmas break and 7 in conjunction with 2008R2 is really nice.

Once you get past/learn how it stores/saves and the library deal, it's very stable and fast.

I bought my first copy of windows 7 four days after it appeared on a shelf at best buy and have never regretted it. I still haven't forgotten the "must be f***in nice" comment I overheard a few days afterwards in a coffee shop near the college campus, shortly I started up my lenovo to play COD MW while waiting to meet a student who wanted to sell their laptop. I have since purchased 140 licenses for several versions, enough to last me the next couple years.

My one year anniversary with 7 will be November 2 I believe. I remember anticipating its release last year though lol. Good times.
