Nice to know, but I don't see any indication that there will be a x64 version. Therefore, I'll be sticking with PDF-XChange Viewer.

There is a big difference between Acrobat Pro (326 MB) and just the Reader (41 MB). If you look at the entire creative suite there are only a select few programs that are both 32 bit and 64 bit. Photoshop being one of them. Just because Acrobat is 64 bit doesn't necessarily mean the Reader will be too.
Also 64-bit support does not equate to 64-bit native.
Why would the lack of a native x64 PDF reader client be a deciding factor in which version to use? I know some PDF files can grow to be quite larger, but the OS platform isn't the bottleneck of speed here. Makes no sense to me.
So am I...but only when there's a reason for it. It would hardly be my deciding factor in choosing a PDF reader. I would much rather have a lighter PDF client that's x86 than one that's x64 for the sake of being x64. The truth of the matter is, most software right now doesn't benefit from being x64, and that's why there's little to no need for it...like x64 web browsers.
I don't want anything to do with Adobe reader on my computer. There are better alternatives with a lot less bloat.
