Windows 7 SP1 RC released

    I installed, and it seems snappier, but i did notice a bug right away. When i click and hold on an icon or folder to try to move, it just opens, and won't move.

    Hi what is an RC version??? How do i check if mine is not an RC or Evaluation copy??

    In my opinion you should not be Installing something you know nothing about, RC Stand's for Release Candidate.

    So what changes do this Service Pack upgrade entail? I also read something about a bug which is why I'm not installing it till its bugging me in Windows Update, but just so I know what to expect, whats in this upgrade?

    Well I got SP1 RC installed and i also went the Windows update route. Worked just fine.
    So for little or no difference from the Beta.

    If Microsoft want to plaster crap on my screen they should at least get it right.
    I don't have an evaluation copy of windows 7 as it states but i do have an evaluation copy of SP1

    I have been wondering if there really is a need to install SP1 if I've already installed all important updates to Windows? Even most of the optional updates too :)
