I wouldn't go by anything at this time until there's some form of actual release information provided by MS directly. Everybody can hooblah over each article where someone simply relabeled the packaging seen for Vista in order to stick it on a web page with everyone staring in awe without any direct MS confirmation on anything.

I don't know why people are complaining over the color and texture of the packaging...it's not like you're gonna be placing them right next to your blinged out desktop or laptop monitors with a dot of sparkle on the corner of it gleaming torwards you as you type away on Windows 7 . You're just gonna pop box open and get the DVD then throw it in trash or under a pile of other PC garbage on your desk .
i agree 100%. They don't get framed and hung on the wall. I like them tho.

The logo is consistent with some pics a friend sent me from a m$ launch in China

edit: Well it looks as tho these boxes are the real deal:

People still want a link for things to look for themselves. That's one thing you'll tend to find out fast around here on anything regarding 7!

It's simple. It doesn't matter. As long as it catches your eye, and you know what it is.. that's all that matters
