As much as I love Windows 7, I think it's stupid for the government to be using Windows period, because any version of Windows has it's flaws. A better operating system for them to use is Linux, secure, easy to use, and convenient.
It's not as versatile as Windows, also, installing stuff on there is a pain.

Heard XP 64bit was H3ll. 64bit isn't good till vista, better off with 32bit XP. Although how they got new XP is beyond me, unless they still have business CDs lying around like my workplace does. We have a shelf of ancient computers that we select from. I'm serious. Some of the ram I've never seen before, and it comes complete with agp graphics cards. I'm pretty sure the processors don't even need cooling jk :)

The monitors are so long that they don't fit on modern desks. If you get 1 GB ram, you are lucky and paid more

I agree with the use on Linux as well. It's great after you get use to it and safer to use. GL :)
