    Microsoft has released the first beta of Office 2010 SP1.


    Testers are now able to download beta build 14.0.6011.1000 from Microsoft’s Connect beta testing portal. The Service pack is expected to contain a roll-up of the usual bug fixes and security patches but no extra features. The SP1 beta download is 294MB.

    In an email to Office 2010 testers, the software giant invited testers to download the new build and submit crucial feedback. The testing is marked as a private beta and it’s not likely that Microsoft will distribute the beta publicly.
