Windows 7 to be shipped in Europe sans IE

Seems strange to me this. Ubuntu comes with FireFox as standard and I don't hear any whines? or is it because MS charges for their OS?

Sounds very much like tall poppy syndrome. MS is a business and needs to make money, they can't give everything away or there would be no MS.

I think these people responsible for all this rubbish should be targeting the people who make pirate copies and sell them for a few dollars. Maybe they would not be so hot on MS if MS dropped the price of it's OS? always about $$$$

Does anybody know of any EU rulings against Apple? or have they just singled out MS as their cash cow.

They will tax us even more (the EU) for man hours just to govern it.
