Anybody who is looking for an OFFICIAL beta (I understand those words kinda contradict each other), but shouldn't install the version found on Windows 7 as that version is outdated. The most up-to-date version (although still in beta, they refresh the builds about 3-4 times a week) is found here:

The same key works, however :)

But personally, I find those builds too buggy - and I prefer just using KIS 2009!

Kaspersky is continually ranked among the top products in AV/IS. It's downfall tends to be it's interface. It is not as user friendly as some of it's lesser counterparts. I've been using it for years. I have found that the highest stable KIS version that works with Windows 7 is 8.0.0.454. The .506 release doesn't like it. But the .454 works flawlessly. The best IS package around IMO. :)

The Help Guide is in Russian, the contents is in English but the information is in Russian. I guess they havn't got round to translating it for the beta.

Build 506 works fine on Win7, not sure what your problems are...but yes, KIS is by far the best security solution out there :)

Installed the Kaspersky trial and it is causing consistent blue screening. Fun part is, when I try to remove it, uninstaller crashes.

That would be a great idea if it had created a restore point but it did not. I hate to revert back to original install and lose everything.

doubleblack, really? I couldn't even get the setup to run. Crashed everytime I clicked on it. And the compatibility wizard just said it was an incompatible program. Maybe I'll try again. Glad it's working for you though! :)
