Top 10 Reasons to Like IE 9

i am not sure ie9 will be faster then FireFox and Google-Chrome, why????
because Firefox and Chrome updates/upgrades almost every month's their product while IE9 will wait another year or 2 years to update to a version 10 maybe.

IE9 is far from being complete however I fear it'll still end up being a disappointment. It's still slow IMO compared to the other choice, Chrome and Firefox. I'm currently using Chrome but I'm not the type of person who's loyal to any company, as soon as something better shows up I will jump ship.

However my predictions about IE9 can't really be tested until HTML5 becomes the majority norm around the net and websites are less dependent on Flash support, but as of testing IE9 now, it's too incompatible with many of the add-ins/gadgets and it's not as quick as the current browser champs. Safari's come a long way at improving its HTML5 support but it doesn't change the fact that it's still a slow and crappy browser, IMO.

Features are less meaningful in the real world than the speed, ease of use and compatibility of the browser.

I find IE9 to be quirky and slow. Chrome is faster but seems to snoop on what ya do.

I removed adobe java from ie9 and it made it faster. Ie9 has its own java

What I really like about IE9 is that it drives people like you totally bonkers. Of course, I don't have IE9. I have IE9 beta.

I've been using IE9 on all my computers since it came out. The latest build is pretty stable and the 32 bit version works with the standard flash and my ieSpell. I use it in the bare-bones mode and love the simplicity and extra space, especially on my small laptop (task-bar on the side). IE has never had a search Favorites feature and neither does IE9 but it's very easy to add. Just make a shortcut to your Favorites folder and put it anywhere you want, including Favorites itself. Still no spellcheck. Hopefully they'll add it or ieSpell will be made 64 bit. Seems as fast as Chrome to me and has "most popular sites" on new tabs like Chrome. I like the way IE auto-hides the bar in F11 mode. Chrome just has a tab hanging down (I programmed my middle mouse button to do F11). But mainly it just works and looks slick.

Of course. Like any other Windows app, when you put the mouse pointer next to it, see the double-sided arrow and slide it.

One bug i hate is IE9 puts a spurious "?" at the beginning of Live Mail messages.
