    Microsoft has officially announced its new Microsoft Security Essentials antivirus app and plans to put it into a limited beta next week, on June 23.

    Im sure everyone is going to jump on a "limited" anti-virus....
    or do you mean they're only giving a cretin # of copies? n/m i'll read the article, lol

    Ha, limited download, it is already on all the torrent sites. And, if I was a betting man a guess of around 75,000 has already downloaded it and are running it at this time (me included).

    HEY! this thing ate Windows Defender! i cant find it anywhere....
    huh... maybe MSE assimilated it.

    i like that it only uses ~26MB of ram, where as N32 was ~40-50, Avast was ~35
    MSE might just make a name for itself.

    HEY! this thing ate Windows Defender! i cant find it anywhere....
    huh... maybe MSE assimilated it.
    Just turned it off, type windows defender as shown and you should see the same box
