When all you front runners finish with it let us "official" waiters know what you think? Not that I'm not going to install it anyway, just gonna wait till the official release hits Windows Update.
Thanks

You might see a difference in performance if you install SP1 from a fresh windows install vs one that already has 250 MB of downloaded updates, but otherwise anything you add to a computer will usually slow it down
The original ISO From MS just got leaked too...

...Great Job!
I have a question about a fresh install of Windows 7 and SP1.
1) A recent update (KB976902) is required to install SP's.
2) Windows 7 has to be validated as Genuine.
So I assume after installing Windows 7 you need to go online and register and then validate. Then find KB976902 update and install. Then install SP1. After that run update again to find the rest of the updates.
I am curios about slip-streaming SP1 into Windows 7 disk and if KB976902 or lack of gets in the way.
Just looking ahead.
Jim
So i took the step and installed SP1
Btw,one thing i noticed is that it seems a bit slower on startup now,in rest everything is stable..for now !
