If these images are anything to go by, then I am somewhat disappointed that they could not address that useless space above the tabs and the search box. I really wish they did something about that. Very unlikely now!
That space isn't useless, it's used for dragging the window wherever you'd like it.

It also comes in handy when using Aero Snap, not to mention if you're using the touch feature of Windows 7
I'm kind of disappointed about this also. While I wouldn't mind it if the space was there when the window didn't take up the whole screen, when it's fully maximized, I see no use for the space to remain there. I think it would be better if IE did what Firefox and Chrome did, which is to eliminate the space when the browser is maximized, but leave it on when the browser isn't taking up the whole screen.

Some people like to un-maximize the bowser by dragging it off of the top of the screen or double-clicking on the space. Just as another option :)

Besides full screen gaming, I don't remember when was the last time I maximized an app. There are plenty of space @ 2048x1536.

Anyway, why MS loves to have multiple UIs? I mean, Win 7 has one, IE9 slighly changed it, Office 2010 has another one. C'mon...

So, it is reasonably sure that the newer iteration of IE9 (B) will be release around the 28th of this month? I just uninstalled the current beta (unrelated issue) and went back to IE8 (which seems to work much better than what I remember from my previous use). But, I am eagerly looking forward (like most of you folks) for IE9.

The update will be served via WU, you don't need to remove the beta
