I'll be downloading it at home tonight. I'm still not happy with the fact that DE was removed, but I built a new servr with a RAID5 array to compensate.

Anyone else having trouble downloading it? I'm using Microsoft's File Transfer Manager, and it stutters for a while, then says Interrupted. Never had this problem downloading from Microsoft before.

Yep, it's stuttering and getting interrupted for me as well. I had to resume it 3 or 4 times so far.

I'm currently as 97% downloaded, and just hoping it will finish sometime tonight.

Without drive extender and the fact that HP got out of the Media Smart home server market...I'm not sure how successful this product will be. I was looking forward to it...then they said drive extender and data duplication was going away and it lost all of it's appeal. The good news is that with LVM under Linux, I can more or less do essentially the same thing as drive extender with a few commands :).

I had originally planned on installing it on my HP EX490 WHS box, but after DE was removed, I had to make alternate plans. I recently built a server with a RAID controller, running a RAID5 array to give me the data security as WHS 1.0. I'm still planning on using it because of the enhanced remote usage...but I definitely see this product having a HUGE amount of hurdles. It's a shame, because my EX490 would be more than capable of running it.
