    I just created this, since I had to extract the ISOs anyway, I just re-named the ei.cfg files to ei.cfg.old and left them right where they were.

    OK, downloaded the combi x86/x64 SP1 file and the hashes do agree with the originals.

    ok, so the installer hashes are the same from Wzor...

    what about the Clients? can u guys with Technet confirm the hashes with the Wzor ones?

    Have lost where I found the ref to RTW is this imminent? as I seee in Softpedia news that they are going to block it as an upgrade what's this all bout??

    The tool I think you are talking about is really meant for businesses to stave off a mass upgrade, it postpones the upgrade for a while.

    The public release to Windows Update will be the 22nd Feb and no doubt a standalone download should be announced around the same time or very shortly thereafter.

    The SP shouldn't prove a difficult installation but it's usually a good idea to temporarily disable your anti-virus to accommodate it.
