Good read, learned a few things about IE9 that I didn't know.
Thanks for the link.
Good read, the article asks the questionProbably among users who use the Windows 7 operating system. But is that enough to preserve its shrinking lead in an increasingly competitive field of browsers?
Problem for Microsoft is that Internet Explorers share on Windows XP is shrinking & that will only accelerate as Internet Explorer 8 finds itself competing against rapidly improving modern browsers.
Thank You!
Very thorough, well thought out review. I appreciated the detailed description of many of the new features I wasn't aware of, particularly in the Safety section.
Very good read, didn't manage to read it thoroughly but will keep going back to catch up, thanks for the link Wolfgang.
I've just started using the RC. It's ok. In fact it's fine enough.
Ed Bott asks "Can it convince defectors to end their experiments with Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox and return to the fold?"
Sorry Ed but, well, no.:)
I hope that the so called 'defectors' don't return to the IE fold, if only because Microsoft needs competition to encourage their developers to rise to the highest level, in order to keep their customers and compete with the competition. I shudder to think what kind of mediocre technology we would get from Microsoft (and many other technology companies) if they had a monopoly on their products and didn't have to do anything to keep their customers. I think we all benfit from competition.
