I have been using IE9 quite often the past couple of months. I have to say, its an amazing browser. I am thoroughly impressed by the IE team for creating such a good browser. After being an IE hater for the past couple of years, now I can almost go as far as saying that I prefer IE9 to Google Chrome. In fact, the ONLY reason why I am not immediately switching from FF to IE9 is the lack of AdBlock Plus, which I have been using for years, and cannot find anything that competes.

Keep up the good work :)!

I have been running IE9 for about 3-months and feel that the Release Candidate is indeed ready to be released. In my opinion this version is the best Internet Explorer that I have run yet. But for now...I'm still stuck on chrome!

+1 Chrome is still the king!

It's faster than IE8 and that's for sure...but lol..I'm gunna perservere with it for a while and see what happens...Firefox is such a memory hog and I don't have much time for google, tried Opera and did'nt like it so I'm hoping IE will fit...I think I have the RC installed..downloaded it from MS last night when I reinstalled the OS.

Don't like Bing either really but thats a small thing really.

There are ways to change the default search engine .

Just noticed that AdBlock Plus Beta is released for Google Chrome :)! I dunno.....its pretty darn good, might stick with this for a while.

    Hi there
    Query for IE9

Will it allow download of files > 4 GB. One of the problems I've had with IE in the past is that I can't often download directly Linux ISO's since the size of the ISO is bigger than IE allows on download.

    Hopefully this has been fixed.

    Cheers

    Hi Jimbo,

    I've just (for testing purposes) downloaded test file via IE9 RC. File size = 5 368 709 120 bytes = 5GB

So this is not a problem for newest IE anymore :)
