    We are pleased to announce the availability of Internet Explorer 8 on Windows XP for 5 additional languages today. These languages were tagged as “Coming Soon” in our blog post early June. Please visit our World wide sites page to download Internet Explorer in your preferred locale/ language.

    IE8, that's good Microsoft still supports XP,

    But really it's too bad there's no Directx upgrades for XP. XP with DX11 would make a killer gaming platform.

    I've not been very happy with IE8, particularly in relationship to Bookmarks. When I import Bookmarks from FireFox, of which FireFox doesn't have any restrictions on Character Symbols, but IE8 does. When I attempted to remove the Imported Bookmarks from IE8, either on my XP Boot or W7 Boot I got these lovely error messages:
