RC1 - people omg it has bug no. *votes for you...*
RC2 - people omg its not stable no. *votes for you...*
RC3 - OMG so fast, so stable, no bugs. *people votes this*

    RC3 Wins and becomes president( RTM/Final )

    /duh -_-;

RC's doesnt mean a new version has to come up... if the current one has the requirements why change/update version?

Because someone was making comments about RC3 becoming 3.5 final. Like it wasn't supposed to be that way.

Yes Zod was i believe, anyway my point is does it really mater what 3.5 was or was not before the official announcement. If they want to live in denial i say let them, i'm sure it will not effect their or our use of Firefox. Now i'm off to enjoy my ( once upon a time drag queen ) Firefox, later all. :)

Interesting. This new Firefox does not show my homepage on Facebook?
I can see the top menu bar but nothing else comes down the screen. It's nothing to do with my internet either, as it has completed downloading the Page details. I have not installed anything else either, and on IE8 Facebook appears okay!?

Has anyone else found this problem?

    Hi ukgovsucks,

Not seen the Facebook issue as I do not use facebook :) but have had some issues with another site that checks for browser revision when loading.

I got arround it by using the IETab add-on to load the page in IE mode, not a perfect solution but it's a workaround until the site updates it's validation to include 3.5

Hope it works for you too :)

Can anybody else with ff 3.5 see if this happens. I 'm running 7264 x64.

I have IE open with three tabs and minimized to the taskbar. I have FF opened with two tabs. When I minimize FF at the top right, it throws up (maximizes) IE as soon as I click on the minimize button in FF.
I'm running 7232x64 - FF 3.5 and IE 8. I haven't noticed the exact issue you have, but I have noticed "strange" behavior when both are open. Instead of links opening in a new tab, they open in a new window - faster than a speeding bullet. Sometimes several windows open. This happens in both FF and IE. I have also noticed the keyboard doesn't seem to work in some places on some sites. I can't pinpoint the cause of this behavior, and it is solved by a re-boot. Life is interesting in Win7 World

    What can I say?

    THANK YOU!

    Works perfectly.
Shame about the issue in the first place mind. Not had any other problems like this elsewhere. (yet!)

    Nice one.

    Glad it works for you

the IE TAB add-on has got me out of a fix as the site that I had problems with was one of my online email accounts and I didn't fancy having to switch browsers every time I needed the site.

Just have to remember to check the site occasionally to see if they have updated the code

Well, all sorted today. I assume that Facebook did something as I haven't changed a thing on my system. (other than what I previously did)

Firefox 3.5 is now okay with me!
