Windows 7: Firefox 4.0 RC out

Ah, THAT'S what that was. FF did an update this morning, but couldn't for the life of me figure out what it had done. Usually you get taken to a nice splash screen telling you what version you've been updated to. Nope.

To make matters worse, when I checked "about" it just says it's 4.0 nothing about the RC, I actually wondered if it had gone final lol.

It does 4.0 since RC1... sorry.

Thanks. I got some flak for this since there was nothing much fixed, except security certificates. So I was imagining it. But it does seem faster for somebody else as well.

+1, subjective but yes it does seem faster....can't wait for final release.
