I hope it will come out as PCI Express card too 'cause I don't want to change my m'board nowadays.
Do U think if i connect a USB2.0 HDD to the USB3.0 port it will be faster? Or both device has to be 3.0?

From what I read both have to be 3.0 (Gotta make money by making you re-buy everything) but 3.0 is still backward compatible so you can plug it in to a 3.0 port and it will work plus the plugs are different. The only plus I can think of is the 3.0 might be a little better at handling the legacy devices.

Doubtful. Both devices need to be 3.0 to take advantage of it...

The speed of the controller is 400 Mbps, but the speed of devices are a whole different story. Speaking of which, 70 MBps is faster than the current USB 2.0 standard Very few USB sticks hit 20 MBps, most are in the lower numbers. Similarly even if the guys External Hard Drive above was USB 3.0, more than likely he wouldn't have a noticeable performance increase due to the fact that most hard drives don't exceed the current USB 2.0 speeds.

Don't get me wrong, I want them to I think this is an awesome improvement, especially the possibility of power increase, I love the idea of USB devices not needing external power.
