    Microsoft releases Silverlight 3.0

    Today Microsoft launched its latest effort to "Light up the web", Silverlight 3 which is now available for download.

    Not compatible with IE8 but it is compatible with FF3.

    Well in windows 7 anyway.

    I uninstalled SL 2 and installed 3, and it works just fine with both FF and IE8 for me in Windows 7.

    I was running IE8 x64 thats why it didnt work. Just tried x86 and its working fine.

    Have windows update to check for all MS products and ran it a couple of minutes ago, but it missed SL3.

    Installed no problem here on Windows 7100, IE8.

    Installed overtop SL2 from the download dialog box run command.
