x32 13 Files 53MB
x64 15 Files 104MB
x64 15 Files 101MB
The two x64s updated without a problem. Windows and all my start-up applications seemed to load faster.
On the x32 only 5 of my 13 updates installed successfully and the Updater pointed out two problems. I clicked on the first one and Windows 7 directed me to a Diagnose and Repair tool which ran. When it was done running it said that the two problems were fixed and I needed to restart.
I restarted and while Windows was trying to configure the updates that it had successfully installed Windows said Can Not Configure Updates will Roll Back Configuration (or some such thing).
After that I could log in. After I logged in Windows than popped up the Updater and told me that I had Nine Critical Updates to Install, not eight as in the number not installed. I downloaded and installed them. Then restarted and finally checked the Updater again. All was good to go.
Love Windows 7
