don't know about 7264 but i have switched from 7100 to 7600 build and i m very impressed with its stability and performance. Build 7600 is worth installing.

Yes you're right that its the best to do a clean install, but when i find a proper real RTM version ill upgrade it untill the final version in 22.10 comes out, then ill do a clean install.I have a spare PC, soo if i mess up, i don't care ...
My primary work PC will have WinXP for some time, until they make all the nessery drivers.
Possible new final build 6.1.7600.17000.win7_rtm.090717

I did an upgrade install from 7232 to 7600 1945 using the cversion.ini trick.
It's ok but not great and I've already got a couple of issues.
It seems to be using 3 to 4% more RAM at idle-no biggie
More seriously I cannot browse Digg as the mouse pointer flickers in and out of existence to the point where it's unusable.
I have a Roccat Kone mouse which I love but MS doesn't.
I've had to manually install a driver for it every time I've upgraded.
So it might be that but why only on Digg?
Also I'm worried that it may start happening on other sites.
I suppose I'll stick it out until the real RTM leaks but I wouldn't bother with this particular build if I had to do it again.
Cheers, John:)
