Read more at: Maximum PC | Google Dumps Toolbar Support For FirefoxFirefox is walking an awkward rope with Google. Mozilla receives – and has always received – a lot of funding for Firefox from the Big G, but analysts have expected Google to drop its sugar daddy status ever since the launch of the Chrome browser. Who still uses those ancient crap know as browser toolbars?
What does the toolbar do that is not already part of the browser?
People still use browser toolbars?
Google has something called the Chrome Web Store. It lets you run apps in Google Chrome (Google's browser). Maybe that's why there's no Google Toolbar support for Firefox anymore. But that's just a guess.
No loss here, I dumped the Google toolbar quite a few years ago.
