Well, no technet here, so yes, it's gonna be very expensive for me, unless I buy OEM-Versions, which costs per piece about 240 Swiss Francs (I'm just associating to the prices of Vista and I know, they won't be the same but I think most similiar to it...) but it really doesn't matter, because it's a very good OS and I just WANT IT! xD

OEM versions? You mean for example i have a HP Laptop, with Vista Home Premium, so could i upgrade to windows 7 Home Premium, cheaper than buying the upgrade disc's or buying a family pack? :)

my advice to anyone thinking what version to buy. Unless you need any file security or need a virtual desktop of xp you should just get home premium and save your money. Ultimate is only needed by a VERY select few people.

    just my 2 cents.

TechNet cost me $ 250. I can download multiple copies of any MS operating system including Windows 7, Vista and XP and any version of each. In addition, Office 2007 and the new Office 2010. There are numerous other applications available. Everything MS has available is included in this price.
