Yep. That is definite corporate speak for "no way in hell" !
I'm thinking it IS possible that there are enough people within HP to buy the division, I would think this would be the best scenario because those people have the most to lose if the division gets sold and dismantled.
Maybe they will rename the new company "Compaq". A smaller more agile and dynamic company that could still draw on the services of HP possibly. I see this is the best chance for the PSG to survive and thrive. They need to streamline the product offerings, and increase the hardware quality while limiting the bloatware .
Other less beneficial takers would be:
Microsoft?
AMD?
Google?
It would take too long to explain why I chose them but they would seem to be good pairings each bringing something to the table that the other needs.
