Mozilla Shows off Firefox Tablet UI Quote: Mozilla is currently working on the tablet version of Firefox, and Ian Barlow, user interface designer at Mozilla, has just shown off the user interface for this tablet version. I can assure you - this might just be the first tablet browser interface actually designed for, you know, tablets. Source

Too bad that Mozilla Firefox for Android "Still" does not run flash....this browser is dog meat if they don't get flash functional for the tablet version. Currently the Android version is FF4 and no flash....all other android browsers are flash enabled.
Even though I am a hard core Firefox user I will be using something else unless FF gets its Android act together. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Systemax N2000 Gaming PC OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 CPU Q6600 @2.4ghz (G0 stepping) Motherboard XFX nforce 680i LT Memory 8 gb OCZ vista essential sli PC-6400 Graphics Card Dual 9800gt in SLI mode Sound Card Integrated 8.1 High Definition Audio Monitor(s) Displays Dual Sceptre x246w 24 inch monitors Screen Resolution 1920 x 1200 each monitor Keyboard MS Intelitype 6000 v2.0 Mouse MS Intelipoint 6000 PSU Cooler Master Real Power Pro 1250W Case N2000 server tower Cooling Thermaltake Bigwater 760 is Hard Drives 500 GB SATA II / 7500 rpm Internet Speed Wi-power 1.5GB up / 512k down Other Info Windows 7 Ultimate x64, Windows 7 Pro x64, Windows Home Premium X86, Windows XP pro, Windows Home Server x86, Ubuntu 10.4 x86 and x64, Ubuntu server 10.4, SQL Server 2005, MySQL 5.0 |

I really don't like tablets. I don't like touch screen. It gets all nasty dirty and scratched up. My laptop can go anywhere a tablet can go with more functionality. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Samsung rv520 OS Windows Seven, Ubuntu CPU Intel Graphics Card Intel |

My laptop can go anywhere a tablet can go with more functionality. Simple solution to dirty and Fingerprints....screen cleaner and RainX. Scratches don't happen on Gorilla glass unless it is intentional and most tablets have glass screens. If you are scratching the glass I would suggest screen protectors. Tablets are just laptops without the keyboard....use a blue tooth or usb keyboard built into a cover for large data entry tasks but ...... that is not what tablets are for.....content consumption is where tablets shine and despite all the opinions to the contrary, watching video's or web surfing on a phone is a pain.
That said....tablets are a personal choice just like anything else....I personally don't like laptops all that much when a good desktop does it all and better. Laptops are for traveling and I don't need to do heavy lifting on the road. Again, just my opinion and personal choice. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Systemax N2000 Gaming PC OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 CPU Q6600 @2.4ghz (G0 stepping) Motherboard XFX nforce 680i LT Memory 8 gb OCZ vista essential sli PC-6400 Graphics Card Dual 9800gt in SLI mode Sound Card Integrated 8.1 High Definition Audio Monitor(s) Displays Dual Sceptre x246w 24 inch monitors Screen Resolution 1920 x 1200 each monitor Keyboard MS Intelitype 6000 v2.0 Mouse MS Intelipoint 6000 PSU Cooler Master Real Power Pro 1250W Case N2000 server tower Cooling Thermaltake Bigwater 760 is Hard Drives 500 GB SATA II / 7500 rpm Internet Speed Wi-power 1.5GB up / 512k down Other Info Windows 7 Ultimate x64, Windows 7 Pro x64, Windows Home Premium X86, Windows XP pro, Windows Home Server x86, Ubuntu 10.4 x86 and x64, Ubuntu server 10.4, SQL Server 2005, MySQL 5.0 |

When I get a carry around computer their is a few things I must have.
1. Windows operating system
2. As big as I can get without weighing more than a case of bottled beer.
3. I don't want to poke at the screen to make it work.
4. A keyboard normal people can type on without the number pad and all the
other little ding dong keys I never use. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Home made OS windows 7 home premium 64/SP1 CPU Intel i7-960-3.2 @ 4.25 Motherboard ASUS P6X58D-E Memory KINGSTON KHX2000C9, Hyper X,12 GIGS with Corsair cooler Graphics Card MSI/Nvidia/460GTX-Cyclone 1GD5/OC Monitor(s) Displays DYNEX 40 IN. I like tablets but don't need full time internet service. The only one that offers part time internet service that I'm aware of is Apple's iPad 2. I'm holding out for a Windows based tablet that does part time. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom built 2011 OS Windows 7 64-bit CPU Intel Core i5-2500K 3300 Mhz Motherboard Gigabyte P67A-UD3-B3 Memory 8Gb Patriot PC3-12800 1600 Mhz Graphics Card GIGABYTE Radeon HD 5670 Sound Card Creative Monitor(s) Displays Dell U2412M & NEC EA232WMi Screen Resolution DELL 1920x1200 - NEC 1920x1080 Keyboard Apple Mouse Microsoft PSU Seasonic M1211-620 Bronze Case Antec Solo Cooling Tuniq Tower 120 Extreme Rev 1 Hard Drives Crucial 128 Gb SSD

That looks really nice. Not sure I would mind that interface on an actual PC version.
