And it is the perfect time, believe it or not, because Facebook is making yet more stupid changes in a desperate need to combat some of Google's + features, but this resulted in messing up Facebook even more. I only have a few friends to convince to join +, then I'm getting rid of FB once and for all.

G+ doesn't compare to FB in terms of features/apps IMO

Well, that's true... Not yet, anyways
But Facebook has become bloated and OVERbloated with stuff we don't really need, or use as the matter of fact.

Well, no matter how you use it, I really don't think we need to be NOTIFIED when a close friend makes a post if we already have lists for them. This new Facebook looks like +, Twitter and the old FB all in one giant pot of idiocy.

Honestly, I don't think Facebook will be overtaken but Google+. I don't use Facebook all that much and I hate the new changes they're making. The problem is though, Facebook is already so big. It'll be extremely difficult to overtake a social networking site that's gone in that far already. If they were taking it on in it's early days, they might have stood a chance. But too many people have gotten used to Facebook to actually stop using it and switch to a totally new social networking site.

I'm a bit of a Luddite where social networking sites are concerned as I get enough interaction from Mrs Seavixen to last a lifetime.

In fact, I haven't spoken to her for 18 months - we haven't fallen out though - I'm just waiting for her draw her breath!

The best thing about G+? It has made facebook up their game with video calling and the such. Google Plus is OK, but people are lazy, why would they want to switch?
