    CriticalError,
Absolutely nothing is wrong with them. The issue boils down to the wait and expectations as well as programs currently designed to exploit the 8 cores. As all the bad press has really just been underwhelmed press but several game and intense scores has it ranking well albet not on top of the i7 or even the i5. I will be buying one of these chip but I'll wait for prices to fall even further but this is my AMD and Intel method. For me I'll never be the lead the pack 9/10ths-10/10ths kind of user. I would rather get bang for the buck and AMD still holds great promise in this area as it always has.......IMHO. Your idea's as other here may vary.

I can dig that but it would have to be a 6 core or better to get the job done from reading i gathered that the quadcore is a waste of money

    Solarstarshines,
Yes for us that would be a step back or just a lateral move.
