It's an HP513C about 9 years old. 1.8GHz, 1 Gig of ram, 40 Gig HDD and I added a basic Nvida card about 6 years ago.
No way it will run Win 7 of any flavor. Actually it will but without Aero if that video doesn't have compatible drivers. | My System Specs |

No way it will run Win 7 of any flavor. I think it would, but as stated above, it's unlikely Aero would run. Depends on the card itself. I've installed Vista (yes, Vista) on computers with comparable specs to that one and it ran fine, so I think 7 would work well for you. | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 Professional x64 SP1 CPU Intel Core i5-2500K Motherboard Gigabyte P67X-UD3-B3 Memory 8 GB Corsair Vengeance Blue DDR3-1600 Graphics Card Sapphire Radeon HD 6870 1 GB GDDR5 Monitor(s) Displays Samsung SyncMaster T220HD Screen Resolution 1680x1050 PSU Corsair 650W Hard Drives 120 GB Corsair Force SSD + 320 GB Seagate Barracuda SATA2 + 2 TB My Book Elite Internet Speed 50 Mbps |
