Quote: BitLocker Drive Encryption (BitLocker) is available on computers running Windows 7 Enterprise Edition and Windows 7 Ultimate Edition. Should your computer be lost or stolen, BitLocker protects your data by helping to prevent offline software attacks. Turning on BitLocker encrypts the hard drive where Windows is installed, including all information that is stored on that drive. | | It shouldn't have the same teething troubles since 7 is an upgraded Vista and will not be as different as Vista to XP was. The operative word being shouldn't  Chances are the 7 versions will be the same as Vista MS to the public - "I hear your lesson, I understand your lesson but we choose not to heed your lesson" |
