It's very apparent that this topic can only turn political and I suggest it was well intentioned but should be pulled to observe our rule #8

I'm not saying that a thread like this should be able to descend into a political sparing match but seriously the restrictions on ANY subject that MIGHT have a bit of political or related content has become ridiculous on so many forums nowadays. It has gotten to the point that it comes across as extreme censorship.

I say reasoned use of such elements of a discussion is going to happen and is necessary if we are to be able to broach many topics in the news.

Lets just keep it civil and measured. That is the nice thing about SevenForums, I have rarely seen such a mature responsible group of members on any other forums compared to those here.

The only question I have is, if the isp's can provide service for $10 why do I have to pay $45? Am I making up the difference? Internet broadband is just there running, so where's the overhead?

Oh believe me I'll never shut down or be swayed of my views on this and many other relevant topics. But much lesser politically charged topics have been shut down and I just feel that it's inappropriate for good reasons and that those very reasons are what makes this forum a joy to be involved with. I for one don't feel that I should have to pay for others free use of the internet and if by some logic it's voted for then it should come with limits.
