Windows 7: DOJ: Lying on Match.com needs to be a crime

Sadly, this may actually be the case.

I don't feel it wise to make light of this situation, because I believe that it is an omen of things just over the horizon. I think that what is needed is an association of computer users, that would act as a lobby to represent the interests of all who use the internet and computers in general...somewhat akin to the NRA or AARP. While it would be a national organization, it should branch out to become global, because the problems that it would need to deal with are global.

I'm too old to do much about it, except to plant a seed, which hopefully would take root and grow rapidly, because we need it now, not just in some far away future. Potentially, it could become a force to be dealt with.

Exactly what I was thinking. If they're worrying about liars perhaps they should turn the spotlight elsewhere....

Big brother (govt) also wants to be big mother! They really need to get a life!

I say that someone in this sue first society we live in took a case the court which involved this matter. Now the DOJ has to prepare and protect the common laws. If it was not for our "society" doing the crazy things we do this all would go away.

Seriously, they need to worry about other things. Now, if you go to meet your online date & they look/weigh more then their prof, what, you're going to file charges against them? Or they will? Boy, it's tough being single nowadays....
