Now if i read correctly that's exactly what it will do hang off any monitor but the key phrase is it needs a powered usb slot for it's own power supply.

It has a laser lens built in. You just hold it in your hand over an upside-down disc and circle it really, really fast.

Ah so if there isn't a USB power take off on the monitor then all one needs is a power supply ? phone charger unit and a connecting cable for the device USB to the monitor? Plus if they go through a powered hub then one could hook up printer, keyboard mouse opto / external hard drives drive etc (taking that opto drive, HDD, and printer had dedicated power supplies).

Would make quite a small set up eh? (unless I am missing something)

The article stated that they hope to sell them for less than $200. Man, I'll buy it just to see if it works.

If you plug it into your computer, it will let you run it on your monitor as a separate window.

Yeah Vince as I said I was remiss by not reading the article so made my assumptions off the cuff

Plus I was thinking that the physical size even with the hub would be incredibly small.
