Interesting, but I HATE hate HATE sites that split articles up among several pages. I get that they want you to see the advertising, but come on...
I'm sure most of us already know about these things but some of you might not. Just something to read.
We've taken our first serious look at Windows 7 and found 30 reasons why you should be keen to get your hands on vista's successor, too. After the disappointment - perceived or otherwise - of Windows Vista, many are pinning their hopes on a revival with Windows 7. And from our first impressions of the pre-beta code, that's exactly what they can expect.
We were among the first journalists to get their hands on the actual Windows 7 code and have been testing it in the office for weeks. Here, we've ranked the 30 best features we've found in Windows 7 so far, ranging from minor tweaks of the user interface to a full replacement for virtual private networks. Windows 7 won't be feature-locked until the full betas appear in early 2009, so even more could yet emerge.

You mean on multiple pages, probably just because it's a big article. But yeah, it's kind of annoying.
Yeah, when it's a big article, it's not as bad, as it makes some amount of sense, so this one wasn't too bad, and it was rather interesting. But some sites will take like a 5 item list, and break it across 2 or 3 pages.
I thought it was quite an interesting read!
From this, and other media attention, I'm getting less of an anti vibe than with Vista....which is good.... though on some other forums I'm getting a very anti vibe from people who have never even tried either vista nor seven.... go figure....
This is a very good forum to be a member of, a lot of other places people are very sarcastic, rude and not very helpful.
The funny thing is that unless you are specifically looking for a new feature, you sometimes don't notice your using it until it's pointed out. Then you go "oh, yeah :)"
And the vibe about 7 is generally optimistic. Even from die hard XP users. The Vista bashing crowd is getting even louder now though
I've heard mostly good things from 7. When people have seen it can boot up faster than a Mac, they start thinking twice.
Even the Arrogant Linux Elitists that I work with are interested Windows 7 after 2 years of bad mouthing Vista.
Good read Airbot. Thanks. I guess it was cut up in a lot of little pages, but hey, they gotta make a living too.

Great read, Airbot.
A bit dated though, as it would seem to have been written prior to the release of Build 7000...
