Yeah Gary I have installed Windows but now have a prob with the machine not being able to connect to the net telling me I don't have an adaptor?

Plus my Benq 24 has gone back to the old setting where there is an inch gap around the edge but I think thats a monitor adjustment - the adaptor bit has got me beat right now as the old drives had no problems.

Have you gone to your motherboard website and downloaded and installed the lan driver?

John, with a new install you will need to download and install LAN (NIC), graphics, and maybe SATA3 drivers, they are all stored on the OS drive.
go to the manufacturers' site, don't trust Windows updates, but let then all install before getting new drivers.:)

Since transferring to the SSD I've found the Reliability Monitor index update hasn't updated. Anyone experienced this?
Having spent all day on this issue I would caution using the firmware upgrade on a new SSD prior to OS installation.
It could be an issue with Paragon's Migrate software but this doesn't appear to have been an issue with earlier Crucial M4 firmware.

I updated both of mine, 64 and 128GB as a new drives and did a clean install on both without issues. I did have a problem trying to image the 64GB though, it would not boot with the image although it looked like the OS was intact.
I'm a firm believer in a clean install on SSDs.

Michael, this is a really strange phenomenon. It is hard to relate FW update to the Reliability Monitor, especially since nobody else seems to have that problem.

Maybe it was just a coincidence and something else in your system got corrupted at the time the FW was updated - I mean unrelated to it. Is that possible?

My Reliability Monitor is also off on my Intel 320.

Don't know how long maybe since install last May or when I did FW upgrade who knows. I never check it.

Going to try this. Brinks tutorial.> Reliability Monitor - Reset
Restart PC after running bat file.
Brinks tut states up to 24hrs. before results show.

Snip after running the reset in tutorial above. At least it appears it is now turned on. Before it was just the graph layout with no entries or any signs of activity.
Read Yellow bar in Snip below.
It must have been turned "off" at some point.

    Hope that helps.

Hmm, interesting. You guys have strange problems. And those are 2 different SSDs. I still think it has nothing to do with the SSD firmware upgrade. That is being done 'offline' without the OS even being involved. There must be some other bugger.

Haven't had the Reliability Monitor off issue with two Intel G2 SSDs, updated firmware on both.
