New CPU for $20-35 if you toast it, not a bad deal.

Even if it is just a one-time replacement CPU, the fee is fairly small.
Kudos to Intel, great idea

Don't pay the extra Intel have superb overheating protection which is why they can offer the option.
Watch this video where they remove the CPU cooler while running a game.

Are you sure about that? I'll admit I haven't used AMD processors in quite some time, but I seem to recall that this wasn't the case. Back then (within past 3 years) if your processor fan failed on an AMD system the computer would continue to run until the processor fried. An Intel system would shut itself off rather than burning up.

Is this still the case now?

Warranty question ?
I don't think I need to Overclock but I do have a question, if a computer part (say a graphics card) is overclocked it would be altered from the manufactures settings.... so would the warranty on the graphics card be void ? any advice appreciated ... thank you :)
