IE8's skills at sniffing out malware sites improved by 17 per cent since March, said Rick Moy, president of NSS Labs, the firm that conducted the benchmarks. The testing was sponsored by Microsoft's security team."
I'm afraid that I am going to have to remain very skeptical about the results of this test. Seems rather self serving don't you think.
Just imagine, Microsoft says that IE8 is the best browser and you can believe it because they say so and you know they have your best interests at heart right.
Oh I am so surprised that no other browser even got above 27% vers. Microsofts 81%. Sounds fair and unbalanced to me.
I however use other products including browser addons and AV to handle this situation but if you want to trust and not run other products/AV thats your decision.
Frankly I find this posted story a little lite on reality and substance, but heh...we can trust Daddy Balmer ....right?....right?...well....
