To control your browser?

I hate this new "smart phone/tablet UI drivel" that is infecting everything (i.e. you can control every possible operation on your browser with 3 buttons).
Apparently if any program has more than a couple of buttons (or has menus) smart phone/tablet users are unable to operate it.

Chrome, FF and IE9 all suffer from it.

I want controls on my programs!
I don't want "auto-guess" or "the designers decided you didn't need it" interfaces.
If those "knuckeheads" saw my browser, they'd immediately BSOD.

I have >23 separate buttons, a search box, bookmarks bar and a full width address bar.

I wouldn't use Chrome even if they did include a Menu bar (Google is far more insidious, than MS ever was).

That said, it is good if Google improves/increases its security for Chrome users.

Sure, but in 2 months it'll be Chrome 23. Chrome 18 will be SO February!

Feature wise: There wont be an address/search bar, buttons or scroll bars. Google will just tell you where you want to go today...

IT TEH FUTAR!

I want a browser to be simple but yet precise. I don't need or want a bunch of do dads. I hate, (do you feel lucky) on Google. If I'm going to get lucky I sure don't want it to be on a computer. Options under tool works for me don't mess with it. I like customize tool bar don't mess with it. I don't want things on the browser of choice that I can't pick and choose what I want.

Seriously though, that does seem to be the trend.
"We know better than you."

If it continues like this, PCs will soon be worthless (and yet expensive) pieces of junk.
It sucks.

It auto fills in "microsoft.com" and then takes me to www.microsoft.com the site when I hit enter.
That's only for addresses you've typed in before. If you wan't to remove the auto-fill, just press backspace and it'll get rid of the auto-filled text.

I find this incredibly useful, if I'm honest. If I wanted to get to the BBC News website, for example, I can just type 'news' [.bbc.co.uk] and it's auto-filled the rest already, so I just press enter and I'm there.

Because I like having drop down menus.... And since all Win programs follow that lead, why wouldn't I want the ability to add this in chrome...
