Microsoft roadmap leaks for Office 15, IE 10 and more key products

    Posted: 14 Apr 2012
Microsoft has provided some of its partners with a roadmap for next versions of many of its key products, including Office 15, IE 10 and Windows Phone, and parts of that document have leaked to the Web.

One of the partners who received the roadmap, Maarten Visser, CEO of Meetroo — a new SharePoint and mobility startup — recently posted screen shots from it and tweeted links to them.

“For who want to know: I got the roadmap from the Microsoft Partner Network, where it can be downloaded without logon,” Visser tweeted a week ago.

    Hi there
Notice what's missing (I couldn't see it so sorry if it is there)

Windows 8 which as we know is currently in Consumer preview. !!

Big omission I reckon as surely W8 is probably for RTM earlier than any of the others.

    Cheers

Perhaps they consider something like an OS more then just a product. Or perhaps with the previews, they feel the timeline is not necessary. A Guy

Silverlight 5.0 - to date aside from a few MS websites, I haven't encountered any SL in the wild that I know of as yet

Pretty slow/no adoption on that one there.

Netflix (on the personal computer at least) is one major SL user.

    Hi there
Sky GO desktop (the facility from SKY TV that allows you to view Sky TV / SKY SPORTS etc on your laptop) is another one that uses SL for controlling access to protected video content.
