I wouldn't be surprised to find that "Windows 8" gets the internal version number of "6.2" either...

I wonder if they just chose "7" for luck?

After all, they sorta skipped Windows 2 and there never was a Windows 4.

there was windows 2 just a dos shell like 3 and 1

Britton I'm glad to see you started working on th Windows 8 Logo; it will be in big demand soon. I think I would like it in red instead of that ugly blue.

windows will not boot past the microsoft logo
i cant access system recovery or most of the advance boot options i have tried useing repair cds and install cds but the computer refuses to boot from cd drive my laptop is an hp model g61 i dont really know what other specs you need i have noticed it always stops when loading a certain driver ...

Confirmed homegroup fix (microsoft support)
they work for 5 mins then stoped, i have both computers running the same win7. all connections are good and nothing is different from before, i have look over the net and seen alot of people are having this huge problem did anyone find out if its a known issue with 7 right now or a way to fix...
