Microsoft Security Essentials build 1.0.1500.0 arrives

Figured it out,

On Connect, the version is referred to as 1.0.1500.0 but the actual installers are for 1.0.1501.0. On Windows Update, it's 1.0.1500.0.

So are both the same ? (after updating the 1500)

Ok now i have a huge problem, at about 3 hours ago There was a DOWNLOAD section in MSE Connect page, But now its GONE.


Can someone check there Connect and tell if the Download section is there.

I'm confused about this '1500' and '1501' thing. WHO CARES! As long as it works we should be happy. :)

Its missing on mine too. So it looks like they pulled the downloads. But you can try going to the Help menu in MSE, then select Upgrade MSE. See if that works.

I hope they didn't pull the downloads for long, I deleted my copy of all 3. =|
