    Google to Give Chrome Users a Do-Not-Track Button

    Google's privacy policies have come under fire in the past, but when it comes to the 'do-not-track' feature mentioned in the Obama administration's online "Consumer Bill of Rights," the Sultan of search won't be pushing anyone's buttons. Instead, it will givers the opportunity to press a button, embedded in Chrome, to initiate the DNT feature and tell websites to back off.

    Pushing this button then engages a big white halo over the chrome icon and the system enters into the "so you think you're not being tracked" or also known as the DM or denial mode.

    lol thats great :)

    Google chrome is getting more use than firefox nowadays, I hear. I prefer IE9 myself. It will be interesting to see how IE10 fares.

    Would this be somewhat like Comodo Dragon <<Link - Free (an enhanced ChromePlus with their own DNS)

    Haha that's so true. Firefox at least tells you that you are being tracked no matter what (or did I get that wrong?)

    We are not even informed about what is 'being tracked' and what is not. Whole article is under 180 words with no links to the subject.
