Time to sit back and let the masses stress 'em and decide whether an update is necessary.

It's probably not worth the upgrade from a performance standpoint for most users, but I'll upgrade simply for the lower power consumption. If the rumors were right, the chip should launch today, however after looking at the above link, those interested may have to wait another week.

    I hope so!
Keeping the core speeds up, while dropping the wattage, sounds like a winner.

If you're sitting on a Sandy, say 2500k and up, it's not going to be worth the money for the upgrade. The biggest performance gains will be seen on the onboard video. All other increases are nominal from all reports and testing that I have seen. So, save your money folks.
