Instead, they encourage that the companies use GNU/Linux on systems.

This is the part that I love the most.The non-profit organization is requesting donations to cover the cost of sending letters. If you care to fuel the fire, a $25 donation will support 50 letters and $100 will put 200 letters on the doorsteps of the decision makers.
i use both close and open source, my thoughts are they really just went too far with this (i can only think of this as a publicity stunt)...

If the Free Software Foundation are really against proprietary software and are not jealous, why didn't they create a badsnowleopard.org or MacOSXsins.org website?
